Cecilia Banga, DO, FACOOG

Dr. Banga is a Board-Certified Osteopathic OBGYN who prides herself on empowering women of all ages via thorough and compassionate healthcare.

Dr. Banga graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BSc in Zoology and Biomedical Science. She earned her D.O. degree at OSU-CHS in Tulsa, OK, in 2007. She completed her internship and residency at UMDNJ- SOM (now ROWAN-SOM) in 2011. After graduating, she joined an all-women hospital-employed OBGYN group in Sidney, Ohio. After five years with them, she relocated to Greensboro, NC, in 2016, where she works in private practice as a Partner with Greensboro OBGYN Associates.

While in medical school, she served in numerous leadership roles. She was chosen as Student Ambassador and treasurer of the Student Senate body for her Class of 2007. She was concurrently the Assistant Regional Director of SNMA for Region III, the President of SNMA of OSUCHS, and Vice President of the OBGYN Association of OSU-CHS. In these roles, she organized multiple successful health fairs and mentoring events in the community. At graduation, she was conferred the Outstanding Service and Leadership award.

As an actively practicing physician, Dr. Banga has served on several hospital-affiliated committees, including Surgical Services, Protocols, Access and Growth, and Medical Executive. From 2020 to 2021, Dr. Banga participated in the Physician Leadership Academy of Cone Health.
Dr Banga has been a delegate at international medical conferences with AOA/AMCOA and chaired several annual conferences (85th Spring, 86th Fall, 88th Spring, 2021 OMED) for ACOOG. She serves in multiple roles with ACOOG, including as a Member of its Board of Trustees, the Chair of the Medical Education Committee, a Member of the DEI Task Force, a Member of the Strategic Planning Committee, and a Member of the Governmental Affairs Committee. She represented the ACOOG as a member of CAAR.

Monica S. Carter, DO, FACOI

Monica S. Carter, DO, FACOI is employed with AuthoraCare Collective as a hospice staff physician. She is a 2003 graduate of PCOM and completed her internship/residency in Internal Medicine at UMDNJ-SOM now Rowan-Virtua SOM. She is a member of the ACOI Committee on Ethnically and Racially Underrepresented Populations in Medicine and has presented Sunrise topics in the past. Dr Carter resides in High Point, NC with her husband, 2 daughters and 2 rabbits.

Khadeejah Lasuc Lewis is the National Vice President of Human Assets for OneGoal Graduation, where she ensures that staff across 25 states have the human resources, talent acquisition, professional development, and DEI resources and support they need. With nearly 25 years of nonprofit experience in direct services and leadership, she has an arsenal of leadership strategies and tools proven to work in various settings. At the same time, her background as an educator gives her a unique ability to lead a wide variety of learners to understand how to apply these tools for themselves. Khadeejah uses an asset-based, holistic approach to systems change rooted in cultural competencies and delivered through a lens of racial justice, equity, accessibility, diversity, and inclusion.Under her leadership, organizations have been designated Crain’s Best Place to Work, Best Companies Inclusive Workplace, and one of 5 worldwide finalists for the SXSW Workplace Innovation in DEI award. Khadeejah holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Clark–Atlanta University, a Master of Arts in Education from Prescott College, is a Surge Institute Alum, an Allstate Foundation Executive Leadership Fellow, A University of Chicago Civic Actors Studio Alum, a Baumhart Leading for DEI Fellow and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. She is a certified coach and trainer in Strengths Finders, 7 Habits, and Crucial Conversations. Khadeejah considers herself a fighter for social justice, an amateur ethnographer, and a lifelong learner. The world knows her as a champion for equity, a dedicated mentor, a proud two-time cancer survivor, a wife, and a mother.

Eav K Lim, DO. Division Chief Gynecology Oncology, WellSpan Health System. Graduated from State University of New York at Binghamton with a Bachelor in Science and Masters in Biological Science. Attending New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wyckoff Heights medical center in Brooklyn NY. Completed his fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology at WellSpan health York Hospital. Served as past Program Director for Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at WellSpan York Hospital, Currently the Division Chief of Gynecology Oncology at WellSpan health system and President of the medical staff at York Hospital. Past committee member for ACOOG and current Board of Trustee member for ACOOG.

Kellee L. Randle, DO, FACOI (she/her/hers) (Moderator)

Doctor Kellee is a board-certified internal medicine physician, founder and CEO of Equity Ventures Plus, LLC, equity and inclusion consultant, author, speaker, and health care coach. She earned her doctorate of osteopathic medicine from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center. She completed her internal medicine training at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is the creator of “My Medical Journey: Personal Healthcare Management Journal” and “Your Mask First: Finding Peace, Light and Encouragement Through Self-Care.” Doctor Kellee is committed to ending healthcare disparities within black and brown communities. Doctor Kellee is an Assistant Professor at her alma mater, The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She also cares for patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She is a member of ACOI’s Committee on Ethnically and Racially Underrepresented Populations in Medicine.
