Dr. Charlene LePane has devoted over thirty years to patient care, starting as a hospital volunteer at 16, then progressing through roles as a nurse and physician. She earned a BS from Auburn University, a MSPH from UAB and an MBA with a focus on Healthcare Administration from Barry University. . Her medical education was completed at Kansas City University, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, and a gastroenterology fellowship at St. John Hospital/Henry Ford Medical System in Detroit, MI. Dr. LePane is dual-board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. She currently practices as an AHMG gastroenterologist and serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer for the Central Florida Division, where she finds great satisfaction in using technology to enhance provider experiences and patient care. Dr. LePane served as a District 3 Florida Osteopathic Medical Association President and continues her involvement as an alternate delegate for the FOMA. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the American College of Osteopathic Internists and holds fellowships with the ACOI, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Charlene LePane is deeply committed to patient safety initiatives and serves as a dedicated mentor and physician leader. She actively participates in various volunteer committees and engages in scholarly activities, generously sharing her extensive experience with both students and colleagues. As a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) for three years, she is devoted to mentorship and fostering professional development in others. Dr. LePane also serves as voluntary faculty for the following medical schools: KCU, UCF, NSUCOM, LECOM Bradenton, and now OCOM. Outside of her professional life, she cherishes time spent with family and friends, enjoys traveling, has a passion for music, and is an avid runner.

Dr. Nevins is an internationally recognized physician, medical educator, author, and researcher with extensive experience in nonprofit healthcare, humanitarian aid, medical simulation training, resilience training, disaster and aviation medicine. Dr. Nevins currently serves as the Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education, Technology, and Program Development, and Professor of Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Touro University California, College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a Senior Fellow at the Center for Disaster Medicine, and Clinical Professor of Public Health at New York Medical College. She is a COL in the Army Reserve and serves as the Command Flight Surgeon for the Army Reserve Aviation Command, and Adjunct Professor of Family Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. She is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College, and holds a Master of Science in Health Professions Education. Dr. Nevins’ awards include: Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Outstanding Female Leader 2022 -American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the lifetime achievement award- Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California, and the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award in 2018 and 2026. She has received the Army AMEDD "9A" Proficiency Designator, the highest recognition for professional excellence in the Army Medical Department, four Army Meritorious Service Medals, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Operation Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Order of Aeromedical Merit, and the Order of Military Medical Merit. She is a member of several national committees including the ACGME’s inaugural Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residency Committee, and now serves on its Appeals Committee, a Board Member and President Elect of American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians-California Chapter, and President for the Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.

Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist

Robby Wu, DO, is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist at Tampa General Hospital. He serves as medical director of Tampa General's Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program and as associate program director of the USF Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology fellowship.
Dr. Wu completed his undergraduate degrees in science and psychology at Pennsylvania State University and earned his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia. He trained in internal medicine at Danbury Hospital, Yale School of Medicine, followed by a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Northside Hospital and the Tampa Bay Heart Institute and an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowship at Tampa General Hospital, USF Morsani College of Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, and is a diplomate of the National Board of Echocardiography.
His clinical and research interests span advanced heart failure, heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and inherited cardiomyopathies. He serves as principal investigator on several multicenter trials, including SONATA-HCM, COMET-HF, and DRAIN-HF. His work has appeared in JACC: Heart Failure and the Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation, and he has been invited to speak on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiogenic shock, and mechanical circulatory support at several national conferences.
Dr. Wu serves on the American College of Cardiology's Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Committee, chairs the USF Heart Failure Education Committee, and reviews for the Journal of Cardiac Failure. In 2025 he was named an American Heart Association Leader of Impact for Tampa Bay.

Dr. Lamie is a dual board-certified internal medicine physician and Assistant Professor at the University of Texas in Houston, where he practices at the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center. In his leadership roles, he serves as Medical Director for both Breast Cancer and Sarcoma Cancer Services, overseeing comprehensive clinical programs that provide cutting-edge care to patients. Additionally, he directs a team of 30 Advanced Care Practitioners within the Department of Hospital Medicine, guiding their efforts to deliver high-quality inpatient care and ensuring seamless coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
Dr. Lamie graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He earned his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed his residency at Creighton University. He is board certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
He is a contributor to a Springer Nature book pending publication, Hematology and Oncology Hospital Medicine: A Guide for the Frontline Clinicians, where he has authored a chapter focused on acute care management of breast cancer. He has contributed to numerous publications and funded research protocols. Dr. Lamie also advises multiple healthcare systems and insurance companies on utilization review and hospitalization guidelines and denials.
As a board member and medical consultant for the HOME institution, he serves as a volunteer providing clinical and spiritual guidance to physicians and patients in underserved regions of Africa and Asia.
