CME Credit Available: 8.25 1A AOA To meet the conditions of the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has issued new requirements. As of June 27, 2023, all DEA registered practitioners must complete a one-time eight-hour training requirement on the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders. Practitioners will check a box on their online registration form to affirm that they have completed the new training completion. No further documentation is needed.
