CME Credit Available: 0.75 1B AOA Despite the availability of vaccines, SARS-CoV-2 has continued to circulate, reflecting vaccine hesitancy, misinformation, opposition to masking, and new strains of SARS-CoV-2 (e.g., Delta, Omicron, etc.). With the availability of outpatient treatments, primary care clinicians are positioned to prevent the progression of mild and moderate COVID-19 to severe disease and improve outcomes. This activity will examine the clinical data on the outpatient COVID-19 therapies and provides a framework for identifying eligible patients and designing treatment strategies. Case scenarios are included for clinicians to apply data to patients encountered in clinical practice.
