Dr. Monica Shah, DO FACR is a distinguished Rheumatologist at Gulf Coast Rheumatology and one of Tampa Bay’s most recognized emerging leaders in medicine. She is the youngest Rheumatologist to be named Tampa’s Top Doctor for four consecutive years and was honored as one of Tampa Bay’s Women to Watch. She serves as a Clinical Professor through the USF/HCA institutions, where she now trains rheumatology fellows in the very program in which she herself was trained—highlighting her full-circle commitment to the future of the field. As the Tampa Co-Chapter Leader for the American Women in Rheumatology, she is dedicated to empowering and elevating the next generation of rheumatologists. Dr. Shah is known for her patient-centered approach, innovative mindset, and dedication to educating about rheumatology through her social media presence.
