Fatima Ali, DO is a board-certified Interventional Pulmonologist and Critical Care physician with extensive training and experience in advanced airway and pleural procedures. She currently serves as an Interventional Pulmonary and Critical Care Attending at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Ali earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in affiliation with Jefferson Health New Jersey and Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She pursued further specialization through an Interventional Pulmonary fellowship at Tufts University’s Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and by the American Association of Bronchoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology, Dr. Ali has presented her research and clinical expertise at national meetings, including the American Thoracic Society (ATS), the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST), and the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (AABIP). Her scholarly work spans topics such as advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy, airway stenting, pleural disease, and complex case management in thoracic oncology.

In addition to her clinical and academic contributions, Dr. Ali has a background in laboratory science, having earned her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Rutgers University and working as a Medical Technologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She is passionate about advancing minimally invasive approaches to thoracic disease, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, and mentoring the next generation of pulmonary and critical care physicians.
