Khadeejah Lasuc Lewis is the National Vice President of Human Assets for OneGoal Graduation, where she ensures that staff across 25 states have the human resources, talent acquisition, professional development, and DEI resources and support they need. With nearly 25 years of nonprofit experience in direct services and leadership, she has an arsenal of leadership strategies and tools proven to work in various settings. At the same time, her background as an educator gives her a unique ability to lead a wide variety of learners to understand how to apply these tools for themselves. Khadeejah uses an asset-based, holistic approach to systems change rooted in cultural competencies and delivered through a lens of racial justice, equity, accessibility, diversity, and inclusion.Under her leadership, organizations have been designated Crain’s Best Place to Work, Best Companies Inclusive Workplace, and one of 5 worldwide finalists for the SXSW Workplace Innovation in DEI award. Khadeejah holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Clark–Atlanta University, a Master of Arts in Education from Prescott College, is a Surge Institute Alum, an Allstate Foundation Executive Leadership Fellow, A University of Chicago Civic Actors Studio Alum, a Baumhart Leading for DEI Fellow and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. She is a certified coach and trainer in Strengths Finders, 7 Habits, and Crucial Conversations. Khadeejah considers herself a fighter for social justice, an amateur ethnographer, and a lifelong learner. The world knows her as a champion for equity, a dedicated mentor, a proud two-time cancer survivor, a wife, and a mother.
