After participating in this educational activity, learners will be able to:

• Recognize the signs and symptoms of domestic violence and effectively screen for domestic violence with patients;

• Discuss the healthcare implications of domestic violence and connect patients to safety services;

• Describe appropriately documenting suspected and reported domestic violence, and understand when healthcare providers are mandated to report domestic violence per Florida Statute.
