I attended Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed my Internal Residency at MSU/Sparrow Hospital in Lansing Michigan. I practiced as an Assistant Professor in internal medicine at MSU Internal Medicine. I then completed my fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at McLaren Lansing and Sparrow Hospital. After fellowship, I joined Karmanos Cancer Institute McLaren Northern Michigan where I currently serve as the Medical Director.
