2026 Hospital Coding Updates (2026 CCHM)

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participant will be able to understand and apply PFS teaching physician rules for supervision and apply the clarifications to their documentation
Upon completion, participants will understand the downcoding of hospital admission codes being done by payers and apply this knowledge to changes in their documentation
Upon completion, participants will utilize new ICD-10 diagnosis codes and analyze their coding software for omissions in coding that may affect this.
